Next session begins in April and goes through May and June. 

We have custom private and private swim classes. Custom Private Swim Classes allow you to schedule based on your own time. Private Swim classes follow a set Park District schedule.

Join the Bike Club!

The Carol Stream Parks Foundation bike club accommodates all skill groups. Each bike ride leaves from the Simkus Recreation Center the second Thursday of the month at 6pm and the fourth Saturday of the month at 9am. Bike Club rides twice a month, May through October. Bike rides are led by one of our guides. All proceeds go to the Carol Stream Parks Foundation.

April is Autism Awareness Month. Help support those with Autism by joining us for ZUMBA fun! Zumba is a Latin-inspired, easy-to-follow, calorie-burning fitness PARTY! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Autism Awareness Foundation.

Join the Forever Young Walking Club as we hit the trails, socialize, and enjoy the great outdoors! Each week, we walk the paths of different Carol Stream parks. Walk lengths vary between 1 and 2 miles. Dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and we'll see you on the trails! Masks and social distancing required.

Forever Young - Cinco De Mayo Luncheon

Doors open at 11:30 am and the event takes place from 12:00 - 2:00pm.

Register by April 30.

Must meet at Fountain View Recreation Center - there will be no bus pick up. Masks and social distancing required for attendance.

Summer Bark-B-Q

Enjoy some summer fun with your favorite four-legged friend at the Bark Park! Registration includes picnic lunch, games and treats for dogs. Additional refreshments available for purchase.

Dogs must be leashed at all times.

Proof of rabies vaccination due at time of registration. Registration must be done in person, not online. Fee is per dog.

Face coverings and social distancing required.

Forever Young - Parking Lot Bingo

Join us for Parking Lot Bingo! Players receive a goody bag, 10 bingo cards for play, and the chance to win exciting prizes! Each registered participant receives a raffle ticket for the door prize. Designated parking spots marked for the event, feel free to play from your car or bring chairs to enjoy the sunshine!

Father's Day Fishing Derby

8:30 - 11 am

Start Father's Day off right by bringing Dad to the annual Fishing Derby at Bierman Park. Enjoy a light breakfast by the pond and try to catch the 'big one'. Prizes to be awarded to participants who catch the largest fish in each of the age categories (including dads!). Bring your own fishing poles, bait and hooks. Catch and release is to be practiced.

Check in begins at 8:00am, fishing concludes at 11:00am. Due to COVID guidelines award ceremony may be livestreamed.

All participants must register. There is no fee for fathers.
